Minden Fire and Rescue, along with Fire District 10 work to remove an El Dorado, Ark., woman from her 2002 Chevrolet Envoy Monday. Rescue workers were called to U.S. Hwy. 79 at Miller Road around 5 p.m., after 33-year-old Lensa Warden's vehicle, which was reportedly northbound, left the roadway, striking a utility pole and stopping in a wooded area.
Warden's 6-month-old baby was taken to Minden Medical Center by ambulance. He was properly restrained and, with the exception of a bump in the head, was reportedly uninjured.
Warden was airlifted to a University Health Center in Shreveport with moderate injuries.
