Lakeside tops North Caddo

The Lakeside Warriors scored in four of the five innings Thursday night as they pounded North Caddo,12-1 in five innings.

The Warriors scored three runs in the first, one in the second, three in the fourth and five in the fifth. North Caddo scored their lone run in the bottom of the fourth.

Cameron Gray picked up the win on the mound for the Warriors, throwing five strong innings. He only allowed two hits and one unearned run while striking out nine batters.

Chase Woodall led the Warrior offense as he doubled and then hit a Grand Slam in the fifth. Jake Gray went three-for-four with three RBIs, and Cameron Corely had two singles and three runs batted in. Josh Prince doubled, singled and drove in a run and Luke Griffith singled and drove in a run. Coulson White, Thomas Lambert and Dalton Crumpler all added base hits. Corely and Griffith had stolen bases and White had two.

The Warriors will play at Evangel on Saturday at 1 p.m.
