Suspect arrested in Catahoula Parish by U.S. Marshals Thursday
He had been on the run since the middle of February, but Bobby Neal Tomlinson is running no longer.
Webster Parish Sheriff Gary Sexton said the 46-year-old resident of Holoman Loop near Dubberly is in custody at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center after a nearly two-month, multi-state search. Tomlinson is currently being held on bonds totaling $125,000.
Tomlinson was arrested last Thursday in Catahoula Parish without incident, and returned to Webster Parish Friday, the sheriff said.
"He was doing handy-man type work at a church in Catahoula Parish," Sexton said. "He was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshal's Service and Catahoula Parish sheriff's deputies. It was a long run, but we've got him."
Sexton said Tomlinson was arrested on six outstanding warrants relating to theft in the oil, gas and utility industries. Value of the items taken in the thefts is believed to be in excess of $200,000, the sheriff said.
