It really does takes teamwork to tag a turkey

As I'm sure you've surmised by now, I'm a turkey hunter. Nothing gets me quite so worked up as to be standing on a hill in the gathering light of a spring morning and hearing the rattling, throaty sound of a boss gobbler announcing to all female turkeys within earshot that he's awake, he has his mojo on and he's ready to play.

Once you experience going one-on-one with a wild turkey gobbler, you won't look at spring mornings the same ever again. Your quest for sway-bellied bass, spawning crappie and bedded bluegills pale once you've felt the pull deep in your soul created when a gobbler sounds off.
