DIXIE INN — Dixie Inn police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two women who reportedly skipped out on their tab at a seafood restaurant.

Between 8 and 8:30 p.m., Saturday, March 15, police say the women ordered an undisclosed amount of food at the Crawfish Hole #2 and left without paying.

Officer James Edwards said police believe the women planned to skip out on the bill as they were at the restaurant during a very busy time while their server was distracted and walked out of the establishment separately.

It is unknown if the women are from the Dixie Inn area.

In some instances, when patrons leave without paying their tab, servers must foot the bill, Edwards said.

“No one goes to work to lose money,” Edwards said.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Dixie Inn police at 377-0238.
