A Minden man may be looking at some serious jail time following his arrest on outstanding warrants for drug distribution, plus a separate drug charge after officers reportedly found illegal narcotics at his residence.
Chief of Police Steve Cropper said 23-year-old Henri Megal Brown, who reportedly lives in a mobile home located behind a business near La. Hwy. 531 in Minden, is currently being held at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center on $35,000 bond each for three warrants charging him with distribution of crack cocaine.
Cropper said Brown has also been charged with possession of CDS Sch. II with intent to distribute after investigators found crack cocaine worth roughly $2,000 inside his residence.
Cropper said Brown was pulled over by officers last Friday just off Broadway. After Brown was transported by officers to his residence, he agreed to allow a search and officers reportedly found approximately 20 grams of crack cocaine.
