Weston Isaiah 'Jed' Bazer

Weston Bazer174Funeral services for Weston Isaiah "Jed" Bazer will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Minden in the West Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Leland Crawford. Graveside will follow at 12:30 p.m., at Forest Park West in Shreveport, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2014, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden.

Jed was born Oct. 30, 1931, in Shreveport and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ March 16, 2014, in Arcadia.

He served in the United States Navy, was employed with Riley Beairds and later General Motors where he retired after 15 years. Jed was musically talented and loved by everyone.

He is survived by his wife, Camille Dison Bazer of Minden; daughter, Karen Buckner and husband, Richard of Minden; son, Anthony Troy Bazer and wife, Lynn of Rockvale, Tenn.; sister, Violet Lou George of Northglenn, Colo.; grandchildren, Brittany Buckner, Garrett Robinson, Logan Anthony Bazer, Elizabeth Van Meter, Jordan Van Meter; and great-grandchildren, McKinna and Landon.

Pallbearers will be John Bazer, Bruce Barron, Jerry Bazer and Truitt Bazer.
