The Minden Crimson Tide pounded out 10 hits and rolled past Parkway, 16-6 Tuesday night at Griffith Stadium.
The Tide fell behind, 2-0 in the top of the first inning, but came back with four runs in the bottom of the inning.
Parkway scored two more in the second to re-tie the game, but Minden scored three more to take a 7-6 lead and never looked back, scoring six in the fouth and three more in the fifth.
Austin Keough started on the mound for the Tide and went the first 1 2/3 innings. Turner Francis then came in to releive Keough and shut down the Panthers the rest of the way.
Francis allowed five hits and two runs in his 3-and-a-half innings, striking out four to pick up the win.
At the plate, Francis homered and singled and drove in four runs to lead the offense. Austin Sumner also homered, singled and drove in four runs and Sawyer Stephens went three-for-four with two singles and a double and drove in two runs.
Hutton Leppert singled, doubled and drove in a run and Carson Bolyer added two RBIs. Mikey James added a RBI-double. James and Stephens both added stolen bases.
The Crimson Tide will finish out the week at the Sulpher Tournament, Thursday through Saturday.
