Lee Andrew ‘Drew’ Chreene

Drew Chreene168Funeral services for Lee "Drew" Chreene will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Minden. Officiating will be the Rev. Malcolm Self. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Drew was born Dec. 10, 1935, in Shreveport and entered into rest March 7, 2014, in Minden. He served in the United States National Guard and was a carpenter.
His wife, Wanda W. Chreene preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sons, Rick Chreene and wife, Terri of Minden, Mike Chreene and wife, LaDonna of Minden and Ronnie Chreene and wife, Mary of Minden; daughter, Debbie C. Jenkins and husband, Jimmy of Minden; sisters, Helen Dunn of Haughton, Dorothy White of Shreveport and Betty Whittle of Benton; brother, Leon Chreene of Shreveport; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Ann Harlan.

Pallbearers will be Mark Chreene, Jeremy Chreene, David Chreene, Preston Chreene, Brandon Chreene and Jason Taylor.

Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
