Pair nabbed on drug charges

JENNIFER_M_WIGGENSTONY_A_MOOREA Sibley woman and a Dubberly man have been arrested on multiple drug charges with possibly serious consequences.

Webster Parish Sheriff Gary Sexton said his Community Action Directed Patrol team (CAD) served warrants on 29-year-old Jennifer Michelle Wiggens who lives in the 100 block of Tharpe Lane in Sibley.

"When they did, they also found 34-year-old Tony Alfonzo Moore, who was also in possession of narcotics," Sexton said.

According to reports, Wiggens observed deputies Bobby Igo, II, Joel Thomas, and Capt. Robert Hayden when they arrived at her residence.

"She refused to come to the front door," Sexton said. "Officers turned the front door knob and the door came open," he said. "They found Wiggens and Moore in the residence, along with two juveniles."

When deputies asked Wiggens if there were any illegal contraband in the residence, she reportedly told them no and gave verbal consent to search.

"There as an Alleve bottle in her purse containing suspected Soma," Sexton said. "In the bedroom, they found suspected marijuana, meth and marijuana pipes and baggies."

Wiggens and Moore were charged with Illegal Use of Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) in the presence of a minor, Fales Representation of a CDS, Possession of CDS Sch. I (marijuana), Possession of CDS. Sch. II (Concerts), Possession of CDS Sch. IV (Soma) and Possesson of Drug Paraphernalia.

Moore was also charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
