SPRINGHILL — A woman is facing charges in Webster Parish and extradition to Texas after deputies say she forged thousands of dollars in unauthorized transactions.
Alexandria Pickard, 23, of the 100 block of 15th Street NW in Springhill was arrested Monday on warrants charging her with unauthorized use of an access card and forgery.
Deputies say Pickard used an acquaintenance's debit card and checkbook to make more than $5,000 in purchases at restaurants, grocery stores and other merchants in the Springhill area.
Pickard allegedly forged 15 checks and made 10 unauthorized purchases with the debit card.
She was booked into Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center on a $15,000 bond. She is also wanted by Polk County, Texas, authorities on a similar charge.
