Area students and teachers tap into their creativity when it comes to raising money for the Minden St. Jude auction in the fight against childhood cancer.
"Minden High School students compete against other students in each grade level," Angel Lee co-sponsor of the MHS student council said. "We have students that have signed up for a leg waxing challenge when we have reached $2,000. When we reach $4,000, teachers have signed up to get 'pied in the face'. One of our teachers has volunteered to dye her hair pink when we reach $5,000. At $7,000 we will have a fashion show by male teachers."Subscribe to Read!
