Glenbrook splits at River Oaks

MONROE — The Glenbrook Apaches and Lady Apaches split a pair of games at River Oaks on Tuesday.

The Lady Apaches took a 41-36 win, while the boys fell, 57-41.

"Tonight's win was big for us," Lady Apache coach Rendi Dillard. "We are fighting for a spot in the post season and this win will help us get there."

Jessica Mangrum led the team with 15 points and Hannah Harris had 14. Carsin Spurlock added nine points.

Arthur Jones led the Apaches with 14 points in their 57-41 loss.

Cory DeMoss added eight points and Regan Edwards and Garrett Sanders each scored six.

Monday night, the Glenbrook teams swept LSM&S.

The Lady Apaches 39-22

Spurlock led with 19 and Harris, Shelby Nicholas and Olivia Dalton each scored six.

The Apaches won 29-26.

Regan Edwards led with 15 and Arthur Jones had five. Cade Contrez, Caden Copeland and Cory DeMoss all had two each.
