AAA, Dixie Youth Tournaments conclude

Bossier teams take district titles in both leagues

The AAA and Dixie Youth District Tournaments finished up last night with the Bossier Nationals winning the Dixie Youth Tournament and the Bossier Americans taking the AAA Tournament.

The Dixie Youth Minden Continentals fell to Bossier in the championship game, but also earned a spot in the state tournament with a second place finish. The Continentals will play in Ponchatoula starting next Friday.

Bossier Nationals 13, Minden Continentals 3

Ethan Parks took the win and singled twice to lead Bossier.. Hunter Hollis doubled and Ryan Lawhorne, Connor Jack Smith, Matthew McKee, Hunter Smith and Thomas Bush all singled.

Peyton Gray struck out six batters and singled to lead Minden.

Connor Davis singled twice and Tanner Page doubled. Jarrott Gates and Cameron Barnett added singles. Jake Gray struck out one batter in one inning of work.

AAA

Bossier Americans 21, Bossier Nationals 11

The Bossier Americans won the first game which forced an extra game for the championship.

Harrison Tauzin struck out 10 and tripled to lead the Americans. Cole Horton homered and doubled and Caleb Reese singled and tripled. Garrett Hable singled twice and Turner Thomas and Peyton Cannon both added hits.

Darius Bradford homered and singled and Eric Brown homered for the Nationals. Daniel Halbert had two hits and J.T. Bryce had one.

AAA Title Game

Bossier Americans 21, Bossier Nationals 14

Garrett Hable singled three times and homered twice to lead the Americans. Amani Larry singled, doubled and homered and Cole Horton singled and homered. Harrison Tauzin, Caleb Reese and Turner Toms all had two hits. Peyton Cannon and Chris Lutterman added singles.

Eric Brown doubled twice to lead the Nationals. Hayden Travenski doubled and Christian Raynor, Kaimana Williams, Jackson Kennedy and J.T. Bryce all singled.
