Zollie Isaiah 'Zakey' Perrit, Jr. (Mr. P.)

PerrittFuneral services for Zollie Isaiah 'Zakey' Perrit, Jr. (Mr. P.) will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leon Boggs, pastor, Lakeview United Methodist Church of Minden officiating. The family received friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at Hill Crest Funeral Home. Interment will be in Marysville Cemetery, Marysville, Arkansas at a later date.

Mr. Perritt was born Feb. 24, 1937 in Marysville, Arkansas to parents, Reva Ibera (Kinard) and Zollie Isaiah Perritt, Sr. and passed away Dec. 17, 2013 in Shreveport at Life Care Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He lived many years in Minden and owned and operated several businesses in Minden including Electronics Unlimited.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Willis-Knighton North 4 East and Dr. Michael Moore, Dr. Corky Davis, Dr. Anthony Stuart and Dr. Jim Noble.

Mr. Perritt was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Maxine Perritt Giles.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie A. Perritt of Minden; three daughters, Brenda Bartlebaugh, Dr. Rhonda Webb and husband, Dr. Bill Webb all of Shreveport and Sandra Miller and husband, Grady B. Miller of Minden; and stepson, Matthew Gryder and wife, Katie of Wesley Chapel, Florida.

Mr. Perritt is also survived by seven grandchildren, Rachel M. Clayton and husband, Dustin, Emily Miller, Elizabeth B. Walkoviak and husband, Jason, Michael Webb, Jeffrey Webb, Madison Gryder and Reilly Gryder; four great-grandchildren, Madison Grace Clayton, Hallee Michelle Clayton, Leila Ann Walkoviak and James Isaiah Walkoviak; and his niece, Sheila Giles Baxter and husband, Wayne Baxter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Huey Holcomb, Phil Clary, Garland Tarver, Charles Humphries and Mark Frye.
