Mrs. Fredi H. Trammell

Fredi Trammell105Funeral services for Mrs. Fredi H. Trammell will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at First Pentecostal Church/City On A Hill in Minden.

Officiating will be Rev. T. F. Tenney, Thetus Tenney, Rev. Kevin Cox, Rev. Kent Rhoads, Rev. Jeff Ramsey and Rev. L. R. Bowling. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 at Gardens of Memory under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. The family will receive friends from 1 until 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at the church.

Fredi was born May 31, 1934 in Little Rock, Arkansas and entered into rest Dec. 15, 2013 in Minden. Fredi was a beloved pastor's wife of five congregations in Missouri and Louisiana. She traveled the world extensively teaching and speaking, touching thousands of hearts. She was a gifted author of 12 books, many of the books focusing on the subject of prayer. She had a special place in her heart for children. She was a friend to all.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Gerald Trammell of Minden; sons, Rev. Gerald David Trammell and wife, Rebecca of Marshall, Michigan and Rev. Michael James Trammell and wife, Teri of Arnold, Missouri; daughters, Sharon Perry and husband, Rev. Jonathan Perry of Toledo, Ohio and Judi Hooter and husband, Neven of Minden; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Jason Trammell, Marcus Trammell, Jared Hooter, Grant Perry, Gentry Perry and Greyson Perry.
