Louise Lewis

Louise LewisOn April 29, 1931 in Claiborne Parish, a daughter was born to the late Laura Fuller and John Maxie. They named her Louise.

Sister Louise Lewis was a faithful servant of the Lord until her health failed. Her greatest love and joy was praising the Lord.

On Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 our beloved one departed this earthly life to join the Savior in that home whose maker and builder is God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Laura Ann Richardson; and son, Reginald R. Harris.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory three daughters, Dorothy J. Hall, Gloria C. Harris and Lue Reecie Harris, all of Minden; two sons, Lee Wayne Harris and Sylvester Harris, both of Minden; 13 grandchildren, Benny Harris, James Hall, Donald Hall, Vicki Richardson, Dewayne Green, Tammy Richardson, Sherrie Harris, Mary Harris, Timmy Harris, Jacqueline Harris, LaShundrea Harris, Brodrick Harris, Raven Harris and Patricia Ann Harris; 46 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 16 at 2 p.m. at Fourteenth District Building with Rev. Billy J. Hawkins officiating. Interment will be at Sheppard Street Cemetery.

Visitation will held today (Friday, November 15) from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of Kennon's Mortuary with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m.
