Lakeside dominates at Weston CC Meet

The Lakeside Cross-Country teams used cool fall temperatures to turn in impressive performances at the Weston Cross-Country Meet.

The Junior High boys team won the team title scoring a low point total of 33 points over a one mile course. JT Thomas lead the way with a 6:04 for 2nd place. Eighth grader Aaron Cole was 5th at 6:08. Tyler Davis was 7th, Gavin Fleniken was 9th, and Logan Bailey who was 10th. The Jr. High girls included Caroline Perry who finished 4th. Winning the Jr. High girls championship was 8th grader Brooke Walker.

Alissa Lander cruised to an easy victory in the girl's varsity Division. Lander ran a 20:35 over the three mile course. Teammate Heather Schneck finished 2nd.

In the boy's varsity race Eric Greene took the easy win with a time of 16:58. Cody Robinson placed 6th at 18:05. Ryne McFarland placed 33rd out of the 75 runners in the event.
