Bobbie Joyce Mills Clark­­­­

Bobbie J. ClarkOn Nov. 10, 1940, a beautiful baby girl named Bobbie Joyce Mills was born to Robert Jason Mills and Irene Webster Mills. She was the oldest of 14 children born.

Bobbie attended Rosewall High School in Claiborne Parish. She later graduated from Pat Goins Beauty School in cosmetology.

Bobbie united with St. Rest Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend B.J. Martin. She faithfully served on the Usher Ministry and worked in the Sunday school department Class #6.

Bobbie was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend to those that knew her.

On Sept. 21, 2013, God saw to pick another beautiful flower from His garden, Mrs. Bobbie Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Irene Mills; six brothers, Artis, Morris, Billy, Cellas, Theodis and Robert Jr. Mills; Grandparents, Forcey and Margaret Mills and William and Sarah Givens Webster; brother-in-law, Jethro Brown; and one niece, Sandra Brown Hartwell.

Mrs. Bobbie Clark leaves to celebrate and cherish her memories her children, Florine Stanley, Donna Moore (Michael), Glenda Clark of Minden, Robert O. Mills (Sherry) of Coushatta and Ruby C. Moore (Don) of Shreveport; four brothers, Johnny Mills of Robbinsdale, Minnesota, Calvin Mills of Lansing, Kansas, Stan Mills (Angie) and Eddie Mills (Flo), both of Wichita, Kansas; three sisters: Vada Brown of Summerfield, Sarah Keeler (Mike) of Gladstone, Missouri and Gloria Ibarra of Topeka Kansas; 11 grandchildren Shadrick Stanley, Dee-Dee Moore, Artavya Green (Javon), Deneshia Moore, Julicia Hollinquest, Robert O. Mills Jr., Carl and DeCarlos McClendon, Timothy Moore Jr., Michelle Moore and Sharanecia J. Rogers; 10 great-grandchildren, Sharleah Stanley, Shamarria Walker, Jaiveion Harris, Jayla Green, Kameron Lewis, Lavar Williams Jr., Kenndi Eason, Laraveon Mills, Billy West, Jr., Shylin Stanley, and Adelina Joyce Mills; a special friend, Mr. George Banks; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, September 28, at noon at St. Rest Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie D. Williams, officiating. Interment will follow at Sheppard Street Cemetery.

Visitation will held Friday, September 27 from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of Kennon's Mortuary.
