Minden High JROTC will have a flag burning at the fairgrounds.Donate flags to be honorably discharged at MHS.

The 15th annual Haynesville Celebration of Butterflies will be held at Claiborne Parish Fairgrounds. Admission is $4 for adults and $1 for children 12-6 and children under 6 get in free.

Sunday, September 15

100 Women in Red program will be held at Pleasant Hill B.C. at 3 p.m. Guest will be Rev. Rodney Williams.

Just Faith C.O.G.I.C.,210 S. Fairview, will hold a Family and Friends Day program.

Webster High School Alumni will meet at 3 p.m. at the Webster Alumni Center, 601 Talton St., for a reunion planning meeting.

Valley Springs B.C., 212 Fuller Rd., will have their annual choir day at 2:30 p.m. Guest will be Rev. Maramdolous Holland.

The Ark-La-Tex Daylily Club will host a power point presentation of "A virtual tour of club members daylily garden" by Dennis Coppersmith of Bossier City at 2 p.m. at Riverview Hall, 600 Clyde Fant Parkway in Shreveport. Bright Star M.B.C., 4337 Fuller Rd., is having a "Going Deeper in God's Love' Program at 3 p.m. Speaker will be Rev. Willie Bryant of Bienville.

Baptist Tabernacle, 11191 Hwy. 371 in Sibley, will honor public servants including the mayor, council members, police and fire fighters with a service at 10:45 a.m. Certificates and an award will be presented. A free entrepreneurial training program will be offered at the Sibley Branch Library from 11 a.m. until noon to help individuals successfully open and manage businesses. Registration is necessary.
