School gets approval to construct new building

DONALDSONVILLE (AP) — The Donaldsonville City Council has voted to let the Ascension Catholic Diocesan Regional School proceed with construction of a new multi-purpose building.

School business manager Troy LeBoeuf told the council Tuesday the school is looking to construct a 42,000-square-foot building that would host educational programs, after-school care and assemblies.
