Minden Canes, Mania take big wins

Lots of hits and runs scored at the Minden Rec fields

Results from Monday's little league action at the Minden Recreation Complex.

Coach Pitch

Young Guns 11, Whiffs 2

Jaxon Davis, Peyton Gray and Easton Sanders all had two hits each to lead the Young Guns. Reagan Coyle, Landon Chandler, Jackson Spears, Brody Bower, Cade Vining, Hudson Brown, Jaxon Smith, Topher Wilson and Grayson Williams all added base hits.

Jordan Buckner, John Rolen, Wesley Miles and Jon Jon Dick all had hits for Whiffs.

Seth Mangrum had three hits to lead the Astros. Isaiah Nelson, Zane Maxwell and Dawson Day each had two hits. Copeland Cupples, Noah Spears, Hayden Watkins, Mason Goodman, Jordan McGuire, Jamarian McGee and Brian Marquez added hits.

Rian Coker, Jekeye Knowles, Zander Rowell, Logan Lewis and Jacoby Jefferson each had two hits to lead the Dragonflies. Zai Arrin Carter, Ross Hammett and Caleb Cornelius each had base hits.


AC Services 8, Gladiators 0

Luke Vining, Chase Hammons and Justice Rasbury all had two hits to lead AC. Collin Murphy, Nat Wall, Elijah Redding, Jaylin Williams, C.J. Davis and Deonte Jackson all added base hits.

Crushers 9, Anti-Pest 2

C.J. Watts homered and singled and Ethan Latour homered to lead the Crushers. Jake Wilkins singled and doubled and Colin Herndon, Kendall Dee Flournoy, Jacob Whitehead, Kaden Randle and

Cade Frye all singled.

Ethan Vise had two hits and John Culberton and Jayden Baugh each had one foe Anti-Pest.

Tigers 3, Acuren 1

Maurice Rabb and Evan Brown both doubled and Eli Smithson, Jakobe Rankin, Gavin Woodall, William Davis and Jaxson Barron all singled for the Tigers.

Blake Guin had two hits and Reggie Reed and Chelby Hinton both had one for Acuren.

Canes 10, 3 C's 1

Maddox Mandino homered and tripled and Dayton Sims singled and homered to lead the Canes. Cason Clemons and Cooper Chase both had two hits and Bryson Ranger, Bryce Powell and Caleb Conditt each had one.

D.J. Carter, Paul Clayton and Dadrail Chatman all had hits for 3 C's.


Minden Mania 11, Cooper Tires 0

Caid Thomas and Hayden Brown each struck out batters and combined to throw a no-hitter for the Mania. Brown singled and tripled and Thomas singled and doubled. Seth Johnson tripled and Trent Walraven, Landen Hopkins, Jackson Powell and Michael Smith all added hits.

Tristen Murry struck out seven batters for Cooper Tires.

Mayfield Plumbing 26, David Peterson Construction 2

Drake Freeman and Grady Brasher combined to throw a no-hitter for Mayfield. Jackson Mayfield and Cade Ebarb both tripled and R.J. Dillard doubled. Gi'Carvuntae Batton and Ashton Stewart both  singled.

Dixie Youth

E-n-E Outlaws 8, Paks Karate 7

Mason Sparks struck out six batters to lead the Outlaws. Stone Rasbury struck out five and Asa Greer had two hits. Joseph Kidd and Justin Nixon added hits.

Austin King struck out 10 batters and doubled to lead Paks. JeDyah Taylor and Barron Bailey both singled.

Real McCoy Batting T's 5, Rangers 4

Wesley Dennis and Garrett Hall both had two hits to lead the Real McCoys. Rodney Johnson added a triple.

Johnny Law Flournoy struck out nine batters and doubled to lead the Rangers. Daniel Miller and Brittain Ranger both added base hits.

Dixie Boys

Jamestown OFC 12, Glenbrook 7

Cameron Barnett, Marcus Smith, Billy Cage, Noah Willis, Jordan Dunn and Steven Harper all had hits for Jamestown.

Austin Clemmens, Nick Mourad and Parker Christy all had two hits to lead Glenbrook. Garren Lipinski doubled and Brantley Ranger, Thomas Mangrum, Joseph Windham and Seth Tyler all added hits.
