Glenbrook girls finish as South State Runners-up

NATCHEZ, MS. —The MAIS South A Tennis Tournament was recently held in Natchez, MS. Ninety-Eight participants, representing ten schools, competed in the two-day event.

The local Apache netters were the runner-up in the girls' division with eight points, one point behind Franklin's nine points.

"We won the singles' division, and Franklin won the doubles' divisions. Their additional point was earned in mixed doubles. Ia m so very pleased with the play of our girls. During the regular season we were competitive, but simply could not seem to close matches with wins. However, that level of competition brought out measures of play that had not been exhibited before. Joy reigned in Apacheland." noted coach Wayne Orr.
