Richland receives another five star-rating

Richland State Bank, is honored to be recognized once again as a 5-Star rated bank by BauerFinancial Inc., one of the nation's leading bank rating and research firm.

According to Bauer officials, the company's highest 5-Star rating indicates that Richland State Bank excels in areas of capital, asset quality, profitability, and much more.

Richland State Bank has earned this highest rating for the most recent 55 consecutive quarters which qualifies it for the even more elite group of "Exceptional Performance Banks."

Only institutions that have earned this highest rating for 10 consecutive years or longer can claim this distinction.

"Since 1983, BauerFinancial has been rating the nation's financial institutions," said Karen L. Dorway, president of the rating firm. "In all the time, one thing has remained constant: top performing institutions maintain strong policies, prudent underwriting and responsible investment. Richland State Bank is a bank you can put your trust in."

Bank officials said financial strength has been the priority for RSB since its inception in 1902.
