Police jury to focus on trees

The Webster Parish Police Jury Road Committee will meet Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Webster Parish Courthouse to hear a report on tree removal, after dead trees in rights of way were removed by a contractor on a trial basis.

The Road Committee will discuss a municipality request, as well as a request from Fire District #10. They will also discuss a culvert on Duck Circle, truck bids, and other items.

The regular meeting will follow at 10:30 a.m. where a report from Chris Broussard on Cultural Crossroads will be given, and a Minden sewer project that needs right of way will be discussed.

A resolution finalizing Doerge Landing will be reviewed, as well as budget amendments.
