The Lakeside Warriors dropped their second-round game to the Red River Bulldogs, 58-44, on Thursday.
"We had a good first half," Warrior head coach Jason Gould said. "We battled back and forth, as both teams were feeling each other out."
The third quarter proved to be the turning point in the game.
"Red River came out and jumped on us after the half," Gould said. "They out-scored us 22-8 and by the beginning of the fourth we were down 15 points, 47-32."
Darryl Moore led the Warriors with 12 points and Lance Taylor added 11. Davian Whiting had nine points and Jamarion Teal pulled down nine rebounds.
The Warriors will be back in action today, as they take on Woodlawn at 5:50 p.m. at Webster Junior High.
