Maj. Gen. James W. Graves, USAF Retired, will be the guest speaker at the November 8 Noon Lions Club. General Graves is a resident of Shreveport and is an active speaker nationally on issues concerning the Military, the United States Air Force and the history of Airpower.
Maj. Gen. James W. Graves is the Assistant to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Reserve Matters, Washington, D.C.
He will speak about the history of Barksdale AFB and the history of Global Air Power in relation.
The Noon Lions meet in the American Legion Hall on Pine Street.
