Lakeside on the road again

After two straight weeks at home, the Lakeside Warriors are back on the road as they travel to Lake Providence for their sixth road game of the year.

Both teams head into the game with sub .500 records.

Lakeside, as the injuries have piled up, has lost three in a row to fall to 3-5.

Lake Providence comes into the game with a 2-6 record but has won two of their last four games.

The Warriors are still struggling to overcome a rash of injuries that have hit the last few weeks, but they will still look to running back Chris Lewis to lead the offense. Lewis rushed for 93 yards and had 58 yards receiving to lead the Warriors last week.

The Panthers will look to their strong running game led by running backs Overton James and Jahlil Richardson. On defense, linebackers Tystin White and Will Williams lead the Panthers in tackles.
