Clovers for a cause


Minden Tractor Supply was named 4-H Fall Paper Clover Sale Class Champion, District Champion and Regional Champion. Those visiting the store purchased $1 paper clovers and made donations, all proceeds going to Louisiana and Webster 4-H.
Another “Paper Clover Sale” will be held in the spring, along with other 4-H related events throughout the year. At left, 4-H’ers help visitors from the Cub Scout Pack 35 popcorn sale play Backyard Fishing.They are from left, Kerrigan Zachry; Dakota Puckett; Lane Hammons; Rayne Ely; and Aiden Ely.

Webster 4-H’ers and adult volunteers sold hamburger plates and drinks, as well as provided activities, such as face-painting, Backyard Bass fishing games and other activities to promote the paper clover sales and celebrate the support of 4-H by Tractor Supply Company. The parking lot was also host to a Webster Humane Association adoption event, a Cub Scout popcorn sale and Minden Amateur Radio Association.
