Plans for a centralized 4-H shooting range are moving forward with an agreement between Webster Parish Police Jury and Louisiana State University AgCenter's 4-H program.
"We are thrilled to even have a centralized place," 4-H Agent Lisa Holmes said. "It's a win-win situation when you can collaborate with others."
Shooting Sports volunteer Richard Desadier had the idea to turn some unused parish land at the Webster Landfill into a shooting range. He began the process of bringing his idea to reality with a request to WPPJ at their March meeting.Subscribe to Read!
