Webster resident jailed for drugs

Members of a Narcotics Task Force have arrested a north Webster man for distribution.

Cortez Jemar Germany, 32, of the 1100 block of 6th Street S.W., Springhill, has been charged with two counts of distribution of CDS Sch. II (crack cocaine) and one count of CDS Sch. II (powder cocaine).

According to reports, Springhill Police detective Ronald Wedgeworth and Webster Parish Sheriff's Lt. Shawn Baker arrested Germany when he reported to Springhill court on other charges.

He is incarcerated at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center under bonds totalling $110,000.
