A Minden woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident Monday. According to Troop G State Troopers' reports, at 7:30 p.m., a 2002 KIA Spectra driven by 46-year-old Amy Davison was traveling south on LA Hwy. 532, when the vehicle exited the roadway to the right.
Davidson over-corrected, and the vehicle crossed back over and exited the roadway to the left. It then reportedly crossed a ditch and struck a tree.
As a result of the crash, Davidson sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported by LifeAir helicopter to LSUHSC for treatment.
As standard procedure, toxicology samples have been obtained and were submitted to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for testing. The crash is under investigation.
