Wreck victim recovering at home today

A Minden woman is recovering at home today after being involved in an accident Friday that killed two Shreveport teens.

According to Louisiana State Police Troop G reports, a 2002 Toyota Sequoia driven by 41-year-old April Walker of Minden was struck by a a 2003 Buick Lesabre, driven by 17-year-old Arien Manshack of Shreveport.

Manshack was traveling east on Interstate 20 in Bossier Parish when her vehicle crossed the median and struck Walker's Toyota.

After that collision, Manshack's Buick continued east and struck a 2007 Peterbuilt driven by 51-year-old Richard Cook of Laurel, Montanna.

Manshack was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bossier Parish coroner.

The front seat passenger of the Buick Lesabre, 16-year-old Megan Mote of Shreveport, was airlifted to Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport where she died from her injuries.
