Funeral services for Dewey Buck Turner of Minden will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Rose-Neath Funeral Chapel in Minden. Officiating will be Dr. Richard May. Interment will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery near Hodge. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today (Friday, June 15, 2012) at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Dewey was born August 28, 1929 in Winnfield and entered into rest June 12, 2012 in Arcadia. He retired from the United States Air Force and after his service worked for J.C. Johnson Ford Company.
Turner was preceded in death by his wife, Audna Ellen Brister Turner; parents, Buck and Birtha Smith Turner; eight brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by brother-in-law, L.D. Brister; sisters-in-law, Cassie Brister Lovett and husband, Elmo, Nellie Brister Childers and husband, David and Frances Brister, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Subscribe to Read!
