Jerry McEachern, 68, entered into rest Saturday, May 12, 2012. A service celebrating his life will be graveside at Gardens of Memory on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Officiating will be Charles Pate and Keith Brown. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today (Monday May 14, 2012) at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Jerry was born to Wesley and Oma McEachern on March 18, 1944 in Minden. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army on February 29, 1968.
He was a long time employee of Baird Industries in Shreveport.
His parents; siblings, Idessa McEachern Tyler, Norma Lee McEachern Miller and Wesley Carson McEachern preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sharon Allen McEachern; daughter, Stacie McEachern Cary and husband, Greg; son, Wesley Allen McEachern; precious granddaughter, Addison Grace Cary; siblings, Prentiss McEachern and wife, Mary, John Earl McEachern and wife, Janet, Denton McEachern and wife, Lottie, Joyce Boyler, Janie Sue Kendrick, Wayne McEachern and wife, Debbie, Gerald McEachern and wife, Wanda and Ellis McEachern and wife, Flo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steve McEachern, Timmie McEachern, Brad Smith, Clyde Edwards, J.E. McEachern and Rickie Miller.
