Occupational therapy – live life to fullest

Occupational therapy enables people of all ages to live life to its fullest by helping them promote health, prevent – or live better with – injury, illness, or disability.

It is a practice deeply rooted in science and is evidence-based, meaning that the plan designed for each individual is supported by data, experience, and "best practices" that have been developed and proven over time.

"Working as an OT is extremely rewarding," said Kim Lee, Occupational Therapist at Minden Medical Center Rehab. "To be able to help others progress from a level of dependence to independence while improving a person's quality of life is very satisfying. I love the people I work with at MMC. I feel that I am part of a great team that is also like family to me."
