Hundreds of students in Webster Parish are waiting to see if their art entries have been chosen as winners. The students and their families will find out tonight (Monday) from 5:30 p.m to 7 at City Art Works, where all entries will be on exhibition.
"We are always thrilled seeing what our local students are able to create," said Leslie Coyle, chairman of the contest. "We hope to see community members, as well as family members and friends of participating students, at the exhibition. It is so very important to encourage our students to create, and we can support them by viewing and appreciating their efforts."
There is no cost to view the exhibition and light refreshments will be served.
The winning entries of the art contest will be shown at Chicken Stock, which will be held Saturday April 28 at the Farm, located on the corner of East Union and Talton streets.
