An undercover narcotics operation by Minden Police has resulted in the arrest of a Minden man on five outstanding narcotics warrants.
Johnathan Small, 26, of the 200 block of Shirley Drive, is charged with one count of distribution of CDS Sch. II (Dolophine), one count of distribution of CDS Sch. IV (Clonazepam) and three counts of distribution of a legend drug.
Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper said Lt. Dan Weaver, Capt. Marvin Garrett, Det. Heath Balkom and Sgt. Ryan Barnette observed the vehicle in the afternoon and made a traffic stop.
"Small was asked to exit the vehicle and was taken into custody on these five warrants," Cropper said. "He was brought to the MPD and booked and transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center."
Cropper said Small's warrants total $125,000. A hold has been placed by Probation and Parole, according to the chief which will prohibit him from posting bail.
