A look at this week’s games

It looks as if the weather will allow the parish high school baseball teams to get a full week of games in for a chance.

Al five schools will be in action this week, with most of the games being important district match-ups.

Here's a look at the full schedule.

Minden High

The Crimson Tide are 13-4 on the season and will play twice this week.

Tonight, the Tide will host the Ruston Bearkats in a non-district game at Griffith Stadium at 5 p.m.

Saturday, the Crimson Tide will open their district schedule with a 1 p.m. game at Northwood.

Lakeside

The Warriors split their two games over the weekend, falling to Sterlington and beating St. Mary, to run their record to 10-8 on the year.

The Warriors will play a pair of district games this week, staring with today's game with Jonesboro-Hodge.

The Warriors will host Jonesboro-Hodge today at 6 p.m., and then on Thursday they will head to Homer for a 5 p.m. game with the Pelicans.

Glenbrook

The Glenbrook Apaches suffered their first loss of the season last Friday, 2-1 to Riverfield.

This week, the Apaches will play three games, as they look to improve to 15-1.

Today, they will host the Claiborne Academy Rebels at 3 p.m. Thursday, the Apaches will host Columbia Christian in a 3 p.m. non-district game, and then on Saturday, the team will travel to Porter's Chapel for a 1p.m. game

North Webster

The North Webster Knights have started hot this season, with a 13-4 record.

The Knights fell to Minden High on Saturday, and will now look to get back on the winning track this week.

Today, the Knights will head to Castor for a 5:30 p.m. game with the Tigers. Thursday, the Knights will head to Shreveport for a district game with the Calvary Baptist Cavaliers.

Doyline

The Panthers have had an up and down start to the season, but look to get things straight this week with a pair of road district games.

Today, the Panthers will head to Quitman for a district game with the Wolverines. Then on Thursday, the Panthers hit the road again, as they head to Jonesboro to take on the Weston Wolves.
