Lee Fulton Jones, Jr.

Graveside services for Mr. Lee Fulton Jones, Jr., 71, will be held at 2 p.m., today (Wednesday, March 7, 2012), in Cotton Valley Cemetery, Cotton Valley, with Bro. Troy Grafton officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Cotton Valley.

Visitation will be held today from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in Unity Baptist Church, Cotton Valley.

Mr. Jones was born on Nov. 9, 1940 to Lee Fulton and Marcella Chandler Jones, Sr. in Cotton Valley and passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 in Bossier City. He was a member of the Baptist faith, and was retired from the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant. Mr. Jones was a former Shreveport policeman and security guard for Horseshoe Casino. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sue Page Jones; son, Lee F. Jones, III and wife, Renee of Bossier City; stepdaughter, Vanessa Powell and husband, Richard of Doyline; four grandchildren, Brittany Parker and husband, Kenneth of Columbus, Georgia, Joshua Powell of Doyline, Olivia Powell of Minden and Paige Powell of Doyline; great-granddaughter, McKynli Parker of Columbus, Georgia; three sisters, Marilyn Coile of Cotton Valley, Helen Brandt and husband, Ron of San Antonio, Texas and Glenda Cupp and husband, Dwight of Summerfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Roy Flournoy, Wade Coile, Randall Coile, Wallace Coile, Jr., Dwight Cupp and Joey Coile.
