Houston E. Tomlinson, Jr.

tomlinsonMemorial services for Houston E. Tomlinson, Jr. (aka Wal-Mart, Milkman), will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 2, 2012 at First Pentecostal Church on Hwy. 531.

Mr. Tomlinson, 54, passed away in Goldsboro, North Carolina on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012. He was born April 9, 1957 in Minden and lived in Hamburg, Arkansas with his loving wife, Rhonda.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Tomlinson; son, Matthew H. Tomlinson and wife, Sarah, of Minden; three sisters, Linda Mahfouz, Karla Moss and Sara Skaggs and husband, Roy, all of Minden; three brothers, Bobby Neil Tomlinson, Carl C. Tomlinson, Sr. and Branden Tomlinson and wife, Carmen, all of Dubberly; three stepdaughters, Julie and husband, Dan White and Judy and husband, Jeff Davis, all of Gulf Shores, Alabama and Donna Morgan of Stamps, Arkansas; two stepsons, Ronnie Murphy and wife, Tracey of Fountain Hill, Arkansas, and Patrick Murphy and wife, Tammy of Crossett, Arkansas.

He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Christina Duncan, Michael Duncan, Justin Murphy, Jason Murphy, Jessica Murphy, Samantha Murphy, Heather Murphy, Stormie Morgan, William Morgan and a baby girl, soon to arrive to Matthew and Sarah Tomlinson; and three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Duncan, Daniel and Jeffrey Plato; and 18 nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Margie Tomlinson; father, Houston E. Tomlinson, Sr.; brother, Marvin "Bosco" Tomlinson; sister, Brenda "Sam" McEachern and brother, Wayne Leroy Griffith.
