SHREVEPORT — The Minden Crimson Tide had a chance to take the lead late against Fair Park Tuesday night but came up a little short, losing 47-45.

"We just seem to keep finding ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory," Tide head coach Alan Shaw said. "We had a one-point lead with under a minute to go and two straight trips down the floor we turned the ball over. Then we were down two and had a shot with 10 seconds left, and missed the shot."
