Elmer Nevada Watts, Sr.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, with the Rev. Gladney Hunt officiating. Interment followed in Cotton Valley Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Visitation was held Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill.

Mr. Watts was born June 12, 1935 to Henry Edward and Josey Della Huckaby Watts and passed away Jan. 19, 2012 in Springhill. He was a lifelong resident of this area, a retired tool pusher from Murco Oil Company, a former employee of Webster Parish Police Jury and served in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his children, Elmer N. Watts, Jr. of Cotton Valley, Randy Watts of Dallas, Texas and Kenny Watts of Haynesville; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Watts Wilks of Cullen.

Mr. Watts was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy Duck Watts, May 16, 2011; son, Eddie Watts and brothers, J.E. Watts, John L. Watts and Lee Bradley Watts.
