As of last Friday, the Webster Parish Police Jury lifted the ban on outdoor burning that has been in place since August.
Following Louisiana's state fire marshal and agriculture and forestry commissioner's release of the state ban, Webster Parish authorities, under the direction of police jury President Charlie Walker, decided to remove their local ban as well.
