Agents make Meth arrest

jason_leeWebster Parish deputies, working in conjunction with Louisiana State Police, have arrested a Doyline man on drug and firearm violations.

Sheriff Gary Sexton said Jason Alan Lee, 32, of the 200 block of Grand Circle in Doyline, has been charged with possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribution, possession of CDS. Sch. I (Marijuana) and possession of a firemarm by a convicted felon.

"Agents obtained a search warrant for Lee's residence, but before they could execute it, Lee drove up to the residence on a four-wheeler," Sexton said. "He had approximately one gram of Meth on his four-wheeler and a 9MM pistol with an altered serial number."

Sexton said that during a search of the residence, agents seized approximately 181 grams of Methamphetamine, approximately 53 gg of Marijuana, three pistols, one shotgun, one Sentry safe and more than $500 cash.

Along with state police, Capt. Robert Hayden and Dept. Joel Thomas made the arrest.

Other arrests

In an unrelated case, Hayden, Thomas and Dep. Bobby Igo III, arrested 23-year-old Romatrius LaShun Lewis, of the 600 block of Marion Street on a warrant for distribution of CDS Sch. I (Marijuana).

Arresting officers found Lewis incarcerated at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center, and served warrants there.

Warrants on William Brady Dildy, 27, of King Orchard Road in Sarepta were served by Dep. John Byrd for charges of driving under suspension, reckless operation, resisting an officer by flight and open container.

Dildy was incarcerated at BDCC on other charges, when warrants were served.

The new charges totaled bonds of $45,000.

WPSO Lt. Shawn Baker and Springhill Det. Ronald Wedgeworth served warrants at BDCC on 22-year-old DeMarcus "Dee" or "Slim" Brown of Springhill on four counts of distribution of CDS Sch. II (Crack Cocaine).

His bonds total $120,000.
