There will be an important Minden Historical Residential District meeting at 6 p.m. at the Dorcheat Museum, 116 Pearl St. Business: election of officers and Tour of Homes.

Crichton Hill COGIC, Elder David Stutson, pastor, will have Spring revival through Friday, June 8. Services at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Speaker will be Rev. Charles R.W. Daniels, Miles Independent Methodist Church, Shreveport.

Piggly Wiggly of Springhill will host their sixth annual Steak Cook-Off June 9 from 10a.m. to 7p.m. in conjunction with the 60th annual Springhill Championship Rodeo at 8p.m. 

Post 2885 invites all veterans and wives to their annual cookout at the American Legion Hall, 119 Pine St. Members and non-members may attend.

Lil’ Louisi-Anne Dance Camp will be held at the MHS gym June 18 – 22 from 9 am til noon each day
for girls 4 years - 6th grade. Registration forms are available at Minden High, Harper, Jones, and Richardson Elementary Schools, First Baptist Pre-School, Lagniappe Montessori and Central Elementary. Forms are also available at The Children’s Center, Fanette’s Children & Bridal, Merle Norman and Minden Athletic.
