Dr. Edward Spann who has compiled a book about the favored hymns of our presidents will be at First Baptist Church, Minden, November 3 at 6 p.m.
Cost of the event is $10 but tickets are limited. The tickets may be purchased in the church office and the deadline to do so is October 31.
Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in the gym with the program to follow. The Acteens will serve the meal so a tip is appreciated.
