Minden Fire & Rescue's team works to free the passenger from a Chevrolet Corvette following a two-vehicle accident on East Union Tuesday. The rescue team elected to remove Billy Hill of Minden from the driver's side of the vehicle rather than use the "Jaws of Life" on the fiberglass material from which a Corvette is manufactured.
Mary Gregory, 86, of Pleasant Hill, was reportedly exiting a parking lot on East Union when her Suburban struck the side of 20-year-old Jamario Hill's Corvette. The passenger refused medical treatment at the scene. No citations were issued.
