Retired Marine attends reunion in Washington D.C.

Edward M. Cupples, United State Marine Corps Retired, recently attended a reunion of one of the units he served with, which was held in Washington D.C..

Edward joined the Marine Corp in 1940 and retired in 1961. He served in the Pacific Theater, served on Guam, the Marshall Islands, and Guadalcanal during World War II.

Edward recently turned 91 years old and was the oldest Marine to attend the reunion.

He is shown here with the commander of the Marine Corp, General James Amos.
