Rate, fee hikes in city’s future

The city's proposed $30.3 million budget, which is available at Minden City Hall for public viewing, is "tight," the mayor said, and with revenues for the city "flat," fees will have to be raised in order to keep it balanced without using reserves.

Minden Mayor Tommy Davis said water rate changes are on the horizon.
